Subsequent to the sharing session on career as government executive officers in February, another two sessions were organised in March for students and alumni to understand careers of other government disciplines: administrative, trade and education officers. CAIO has much pleasure to have invited Ms Esther Leung, JP, Deputy Secretary for Education, as the honorable speaker to share with participants her valuable experience working in the administrative officer grade. Ms Leung unreservedly shared with the audience the joys and challenges she encountered. The participants also gained valuable insights on how to equip themselves with the essential competencies for launching a career in the discipline. In another session, two enthusiastic and dedicated alumni, Mr Billy Au and Mr Locto Tang, shed lights on the work nature, career paths and the ways to thrive on different job postings of their respective disciplines: trade and education. The audience treasured the advices and insights they got from the alumni. More importantly, they appreciated the wholehearted contribution Mr Au and Mr Tang made to the CityU community amid their busy work schedules.
