The theme for the new edition of annual alumni magazine City AlumNet is “Energising Opportunities, Rising Above Challenges”. It highlights how members of CityU have met and overcome difficulties during the pandemic. Alumni’s caring spirit flourishes at CityU. The Student Career Centre at CityU has been named “Judith and Gary Cheng Student Career Centre” in appreciation of the support and generous donations made by Dr and Mrs Gary Cheng Faat-ting to the University. The ceremony was held on 14 May. Read more>>

HK Tech 300 is a large-scale flagship innovation and entrepreneurship programme organised by CityU. With the theme of “Venture Beyond Boundaries” and an allocation of HK$500 million, the Programme aims to establish 300 start-ups championed by CityU students in three years, and establish the largest university-based entrepreneurship programme in Asia. BBA Marketing graduate Ms Navy Lam (林海君) gained much international experience during her study at CityU and decided to step out of her comfort zone after graduation. At her early 30s, she became the first Chief Marketing Officer of HeiQ Group, a Swiss high-tech company specialises in textile innovation and listed on the London Stock Exchange Main Market.
