Best wishes to CityU alumnus and PhD student Andy

We are saddened to learn that Andy Leung Yue-hei (梁瑜晞), CityU PhD student of Jockey Club College of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences, has been diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer. The 24-year-old student is also an alumnus of BSc in Applied Biology and a member of the CityU Dragon Boat team.

CityU President Professor Way Kuo, staff, students and alumni are concerned and care about the situation of Andy. Various university units and the Alumni Relations Office are working together to provide support to the family, including immediate provision of an Emergency Fund. Read More>>

Read the story from our graduates Dr Chen Xueping (陳雪平) and Mr Eric Chen (陳子翔), Co-founders of Vitargent, a pioneer in the field of safety testing technology by using medaka and zebrafish embryos to perform toxicity tests. The company was awarded the Grand Prix at the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva in 2015.
