CityU alumni Ms Irene Chung (鍾婉萍) [BA (Hons) in Creative Media] and Ms Yeung Hiu-lam (楊曉林) [BSocSc (Hons) in Social Work] represented Hong Kong to compete in wheelchair fencing and boccia respectively in Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. They performed well and demonstrated the go-beyond spirit that have made us proud. Revisit the cheering video for them HERE.

 

President Way Kuo warmly welcomed all new students at the University Welcoming Ceremony, held on campus and online on 24 August. He encouraged the freshmen with the success story of CityU alumna Ms Grace Lau (劉慕裳), an Olympic Bronze medalist in the Karate Women’s Kata. School of Law graduate Mr Stephen Yau (邱浩波), GBS, SBS, MH, JP is Chief Executive of International Social Service (Hong Kong Branch). He has been contributing to social welfare for more than 40 years. His works aim to empower the underprivileged groups in Hong Kong and promote social work education in the mainland. His CityU education enriched his knowledge of the mainland’s legal system and smoothened the promotion of collaboration projects. Read More>>
