HK Tech 300 is CityU's flagship innovation and entrepreneurship programme to launch start-ups. With the theme of “Venture Beyond Boundaries” and an allocation of HK$500 million, the Programme aims to establish 300 start-ups championed by aspiring entrepreneurs in three years, and establish the largest university-based entrepreneurship programme in Asia. CityU continues to make breakthroughs by releasing the English version of the University Anthem Beyond Boundaries. Along with showcasing some CityU features, the lyrics serve as encouragement for students to advance beyond boundaries, including academic research, sports development and their future careers. The profound lyrics, written by President Way Kuo, encapsulate the philosophy of knowledge seeking and emphasise the principles upheld by scholars. Read More>>

 

Dr Monica Kan (簡慧君) aspired to become a Medical Physicist after a hospital attachment during her BSc Applied Physics studies at CityU. She has fulfilled her dream after pursuing a master degree and doctorate in Medical Physics at her alma mater and is currently responsible for ensuring radiation safety for patients and medical staff, as well as assisting doctors with radiotherapy and radiological diagnostic procedures.
