CityU continues to make breakthroughs by releasing the English version of the University Anthem Beyond Boundaries. Along with showcasing some CityU features, the lyrics serve as encouragement for students to advance beyond boundaries, including academic research, sports development and their future careers. Dr Monica Kan (簡慧君) aspired to become a Medical Physicist after a hospital attachment during her BSc Applied Physics studies at CityU. She has fulfilled her dream after pursuing a master degree and doctorate in Medical Physics at her alma mater and is currently responsible for ensuring radiation safety for patients and medical staff, as well as assisting doctors with radiotherapy and radiological diagnostic procedures.
