A research project led by Professor Chen Sheng, titled "Multi-disciplinary approaches to tackling the global public health threat of hypervirulent and multidrug-resistant (MDR) Klebsiella pneumoniae" received HK$38 million in research funding in the 12th round of the Theme-based Research Scheme under the Research Grants Council of the University Grants Committee for a five-year project. A forum on “Data Science and AI” under The HK Tech Forum will be held on 26 – 27 July at 9am. The forum series provides a platform for discussing new strategies and approaches to major challenges in science and technology. Each forum will feature world-leading scientists and technologists to promote strong collaboration between Hong Kong scholars in applying a multidisciplinary approach to tackling challenging technology issues. DBA graduate Dr Stan Ho (何昊洺) is Chief Executive Officer at Lianhe Ratings Global, the international subsidiary under one of the two major Chinese credit rating agencies.
