15 academic subjects at CityU have been ranked top 50 in the world, according to the ShanghaiRanking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) 2022, while Library and Information Science is ranked 2nd globally. Distinguished scholars from around the world gathered at the HK Tech Forum on Data Science and AI (DSAI), hosted by the Hong Kong Institute for Advanced Study (HKIAS) at CityU from 26 to 27 July, to address challenging issues in driving data science and AI technology. CityU and CPA Australia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for CPA Program exemption status for two courses offered by CityU’s Department of Information Systems in its Master’s programmes. The Indra and Harry Banga Gallery at CityU presents the new exhibition “Hunters, Warriors, Spirits: Nomadic Art of North China” from now until 23 October (Book a visit now). “CityU CAReer Launch Scheme” (CARLS) 2.0 has created more than 4,100 job vacancies for 2021 graduates, in which more than 800 of them have already secured job offers. CARLS 3.0 has been launched to provide matching fund to employers who offer full-time employment opportunities to CityU 2022 graduates.
