CityU congratulates Professor Alain Aspect on winning the Nobel Prize in Physics 2022. Professor Aspect is a Senior Fellow at the HKIAS at CityU, which was established in 2015 to bring together world-leading scholars and fellows. Cattle imported from Australia arrived safely at the University Farm in Lam Tsuen, Tai Po on 20 September, marking another milestone in the development of the University Farm. CityU is the first university in Hong Kong to introduce and practice the pioneering concept of One Health and, among all the universities in Asia, pays special attention to animal welfare. CityU conferred the title of Honorary Fellow on four distinguished persons in recognition of their distinctive contributions to the development of, and service to, the University and the community. Nearly 700 new elite “HK TECH Tiger” students set to start on their future leadership path were welcomed at CityU in a ceremony on 19 September.
