Being one of the 220+ Exercise is Medicine On Campus (EIMOC) Registered Schools worldwide, CityU was invited by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) to join the EIMOC Mascot Challenge once again. This year, we created a video with the theme “Exercise is for Everyone”, featuring CityU Tiger Mascot for the first time!

The “M21 x CityU Alumni Ambassadors Series — City of Stars” video series has been released. CityU researchers have developed an Internet of Things (IoT) Smart Mask integrating an ultrathin nanocomposite sponge structure-based soundwave sensor, which can detect and classify various respiratory sounds (breathing, coughing and speaking) using deep learning, thus helping to improve personal and public health. Read More>>

Professor Joe Qin Sizhao, Dean and Chair Professor of the School of Data Science and Director of the Hong Kong Institute for Data Science at CityU, has become the first scholar in Greater China to receive the 2022 IEEE CSS Transition to Practice Award for his distinguished contributions to the field of data-driven control engineering. BEng graduate Mr Eric Chen shared his career path and ten lessons he learned from his entrepreneurial journey with students from the Tiger Programme in a webinar organised by the Talent and Education Development Office on 19 October.
