Alumnus Professor Kenneth Leung (梁美儀), a Hong Kong marine ecologist and current Director of the State Key Laboratory of Marine Pollution at CityU, has recently led a research team to investigate the upcycling of ashes and sediment waste discarded by the Tuen Mun T-Park incinerator into eco-tiles, which enhance marine biodiversity on artificial seawalls effectively.
