Mr Ong Siew Gay, the Consul General of Singapore in Hong Kong, led a delegation to visit CityU on 10 October. Five young academics at CityU have been awarded the Excellent Young Scientists Fund (Hong Kong and Macau) by the National Natural Science Foundation of China for 2023. Congratulations to Professor Jennifer Lin and Professor Alfred Ho from CLASS for their recent achievements. Professor Lin received the NETPAC Award for the Best Asian/Pacific film at the 39th Warsaw International Film Festival; while Professor Ho has been elected as a Fellow to the National Academy of Public Administration, being the only Fellow elected from Asia this year.
