CityU Council Chairman Mr Lester Garson Huang led a delegation of senior management to visit Kazakhstan between 28 November and 1 December. During the visit, the delegation visited Satbayev University (SU); President Boey also signed a joint agreement with SU to foster collaboration and form a pioneering strategic partnership. A research team led by Professor Chan Chi-hou, Chair Professor of Electronic Engineering at CityU, achieved an unprecedented advance in antenna technology for high-security 6G communications by making possible the manipulation of all five fundamental properties of electromagnetic waves through software control. The 4th Executive Committee of CityU Shenzhen Alumni Chapter was elected successfully. The service period of the Ex-Co, which consists of 16 enthusiastic alumni, is from September 2023 to August 2025.
