Congratulations to Grace Lau Mo-sheung, School of Creative Media alumna, for winning the Gold Medal in Female Kata in the Karate 1 (K1) Premier League in Antalya, Turkey, on 17 March. Before this, she had secured the world’s number one ranking in female kata in early 2024. Kudos to School of Creative Media alumni David Chung and Carmen Lam for their co-founded company Animae Technologies Limited’s winning of the “Best Innovation Brand Award” at the Hong Kong Design Summit 2024, which recognises their team's dedication and creativity in user interface and user experience design.

Super wearable electronics that are lightweight, stretchable and increase sweat permeability by 400-fold have been developed by scientists at CityUHK, enabling reliable long-term monitoring of biosignals for biomedical devices, which play a significant role in promoting health and fitness.
