The programme received an overwhelming response of some 3,000 registrations for various events well ahead of the Homecoming day!
To celebrate the support of alumni, an Alumni Appreciation Event was highlighted at the Homecoming, with some 50 alumni leaders from 19 alumni groups gathered on campus. They received a warm vote of thanks from Dr Ron Kwok Chi-wai, Director of the Alumni Relations Office, and took the networking opportunity to interact with their peers and representatives of the academic departments and CityU units on how to support University development.
The heartwarming Homecoming connected participants of different ages and interests, who enjoyed a fulfilling time to “Connect” and “Grow”. A wide variety of events were offered including guided tours to CityU’s state-of-the-art laboratories, HK Tech 300’s IncuHub, and facilities like Student Residence, Library, and Indra and Harry Banga Gallery; amusing activities such as Chinese cultural events, stand-up comedy, and an online Musical show.
