周明春(工商管理碩士2003)

現任「深圳興天下科技有限公司」董事長的周明春,於城大修畢工商管理碩士課程後,事業不斷發展,現已在深圳高新技術園區擁有自己的網絡通訊公司,並且在美國上市。

他的創業之路始於南京,一路南下到深圳。創立「興天下」是他的第三次創業。時至今日,企業發展越趨蓬勃。明春為了成就理想,從來不怕失敗。「若是一個人有夢想,失敗的經歷將會成為動力以及樂趣。」他正是奉著這樣的理念一路走來。「即使失敗,也要拼盡全力;唯有如此,才能老來無悔!」這句話已成為他的個人信條。

回憶起城大的學習,周明春感到受益匪淺。他形容城大的工商管理碩士課程將理論和實踐結合。在老師的引導下,周明春逐漸接觸國際管理方法。他盛讚城大的老師:「教授都擁有企業經驗,並且都是社會精英。」入學城大之前,周明春已有一些實際管理經歷,而老師所講恰恰切中肯綮,讓他開拓視野,深受啟迪。

周明春十分懷念城大生活:「在城大工作學習,是一件幸福的事情。儘管這麼多年過去了,每每想起精彩片段,就如電影一樣閃現眼前。」他猶記得MBA課程中的一些要求極高的訓練。在教授的帶領下,小組分別籌備不同的課題。明春連續多天和組員寢食難安,為課題拼盡全力。雖然辛苦,但整個課程結束後,把所有的課題結合,便成為一個大項目。看到自己的成果,並和同伴們分享收穫,著實為一件樂事!

周明春從不忘母校。深圳的校友網絡就是由他及其他熱心校友努力鞏固。昔日同窗在聚會上常常交流溝通,分享專業領域的知識。明春在此也分享了他的管理哲學:首先要和同事訂立大家認可的事業目標,在目標達成後大家同分享。即使在通往目標的路上會有諸多困難,也不畏懼。用學習的心去克服,最終困難都會迎刃而解。

周明春祝願城大越來越好,也希望每個人都能抓住一個夢,為了理想不怕失敗!

All alumni are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the CityU Convocation to be held at 7:30pm on Friday 17 December at the Wei Hing Theatre on campus. Convocation members will have the opportunity to meet with the current Second Standing Committee to discuss latest developments of the Convocation. Please check out the AGM notice to be released in November.

What is Convocation?

The University Convocation, which comprises all graduates of the University, is a statutory body formed in accordance with the University Ordinance (Statute 10) aiming to strengthen and promote the relationships among members of the Convocation, between the Convocation and the University, and between the University and the general public. It works towards promoting the objectives and activities of the University.

The Chairman and Standing Committee members of the Convocation are elected by and from the members of the Convocation.

12 December – Homecoming Gala tops pops with IT buzz

Rediscover the CityU campus at the Homecoming Gala on Sunday 12 December and have fun with your family and friends!

Heading the entertainment is theHomecoming Concert at 3pm at the Wei Hing Theatre on campus in which performers and masters of ceremony are from the CityU family.
