Established in 2003, the Alumni Giving Club (AGC) provides a distinctive platform for alumni and students to show their support and care for the University by making donations. AGC not only offers a sustained system for raising funds for the University, it also helps promote a caring and giving culture in the University. As a result of vigorous promotional efforts over the years, more than 9,000 alumni and students have demonstrated their support by generating over HK$70 million (including matching grants) so far to finance projects that directly benefit deserving students.

This year marks AGC’s 10th anniversary. A new anniversary fundraising campaign has been launched to celebrate its achievements. Please consider making a contribution to your alma mater, and help us make the AGC’s 10th year of operation the most rewarding yet. Contribution of at least HK$10,000 will be acknowledged with an exclusive 10-year naming right to features in the University’s Chinese Garden on first-come, first-served basis as a token of appreciation. Please visit the campaign website at www.cityu.edu.hk/do/agc10 and act now!

As a token of appreciation of support, alumni donors who have contributed at least HK$10,000 to the University via the Campaign can designate a plaque to be installed on a stone bench, or for $50,000 on a pillar, at the University’s Chinese Garden for ten years.

The University Chinese Garden’s trail, pavilions, ponds, stone benches and pillars can be named as designated by donors for a period of ten years, on a first-come, first-served basis.
