Dear CityU Alumni,

You are cordially invited to join us for the 2014 CityU Discovery Festival (DFest) to be held from March 3 to 5, 2014, at which we will celebrate the discoveries and innovations of our teachers and students. During the DFest period, our Colleges and Schools will also hold a Majors and Minors selection exhibition and present talks to help Year 1 students make their academic plans.

During DFest, the Teaching&Learning@CityU section in the Purple Zone on the podium will serve as a platform for teachers and students to share their designs, experiences and accomplishments from the Discovery-enriched Curriculum (DEC) and various innovative projects. Please visit our website at http://www6.cityu.edu.hk/dfest to check the schedule and details of the different events.  Registration for some events is needed.  Write to us (discovery.festival@cityu.edu.hk) if more information is needed.

A group of Master of Arts for International Accounting alumni had a great reunion in Shenzhen. Having developed a strong brotherhood during their studies at CityU, the accounting alumni have been maintaining a close liaison and meeting periodically since graduation. Department of Accountancy Senior Teaching Fellow Mr David Yip was on hand to share University memories and updates, while Alumni Relations Manager Ms Pheony Tsang took the opportunity to thank the alumni for their support. She noted that both local and non-local class reunions like this one helped strengthen alumni bondage and facilitated their further communication with the University.
