Convocation booth and workshop garner support from alumni at Homecoming Gala (12 Dec)

The eagerly anticipated Gala on 12 December turned out to be a fun day attracting many generations of alumni with their families and friends. SC members would like to thank those who visited the Convocation booth and brought their children to the doll-making workshop.

Convocation members get Convocation updates on its Annual General Meeting (17 Dec)
The SC convened the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 17 December in which the Chairman Ms Karmen Chan and other SC members shared the Convocation updates. The AGM was conducted smoothly. Capturing the opportunity, the SC collected views of members on its suggested initiatives for year 2011. Enthusiastic participants shared their views actively and shown support for Convocation development. The SC would like to thank all members for joining the meeting.

Appointment of Secretary of the Convocation

What is Convocation?

The University Convocation, which comprises all graduates of the University, is a statutory body formed in accordance with the University Ordinance (Statute 10) aiming to strengthen and promote the relationships among members of the Convocation, between the Convocation and the University, and between the University and the general public. It works towards promoting the objectives and activities of the University.

The Chairman and Standing Committee members of the Convocation are elected by and from the members of the Convocation.
