Let’s support Earth Hour 2012 (31 March)
In response to the Earth Hour 2012 campaign organised by World Wild Fund (WWF) Hong Kong, Convocation would like to invite you to support this meaningful initiative to demonstrate our effort to save the earth. As eco-conscious member of CityU and the community, we encourage you to turn your lights off for one hour starting from 8:30pm on 31 March 2012 (Saturday) to take a stand against climate change. What is Convocation? The University Convocation, which comprises all graduates of the University, is a statutory body formed in accordance with the University Ordinance (Statute 10) aiming to strengthen and promote the relationships among members of the Convocation, between the Convocation and the University, and between the University and the general public. It works towards promoting the objectives and activities of the University. The Chairman and Standing Committee members of the Convocation are elected by and from the members of the Convocation.
