On 5 June, with the overwhelming responses from our alumni, the 《Pure Land – Inside the Mogao Grottoes at Dunhuang》animated 3D exhibition was successfully conducted. The exhibition took place at the Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre, which is one of the landmark buildings of CityU. A group of alumni has experienced in virtual reality the magnificent Buddhist wall paintings inside Cave 220, part of the famous Mogao Grottoes at Dunhuang in Gansu province, China. They were impressed by this cultural heritage and amazed by the combination of creative media technology and the ancient artwork. Check out more here.
