More than 150 alumni, guests and CityU representatives attended the Beijing Alumni Reunion organised by the Alumni Relations Office in Beijing on 26 May. Professor Way Kuo, President and University Distinguished Professor, greeted all with latest achievements and developments at the University.

Dr Lee Kai-Fu (李開復博士), recipient of CityU’s honorary doctoral degree and Chairman and CEO of Innovation Works, talked about making choices in life under the topic ‘Making a World of Difference’, also the title of his autobiography. Alumni leaders joining the reunion wished that alumni will be like dandelion seeds spreading and blooming in different corners around the world, and help the University make substantial advancements. At an earlier brainstorming session with Ms Kathy Chan, Associate Vice-President (Alumni Relations), a group of veteran alumni leaders in Beijing discussed how to extend the Mainland alumni network in support of the University. They pledged to help develop alumni networks in support of the University and wish that alumni networks in the Mainland can further blossom.
