Four of CityU’s talented alumni who double as stand-up comedians in town, namely Tim Chan (second from right), Daniel Chong (rightmost), Fab Ma (second from left) and Vivek Mahbubani (centre), were back on campus on 8 February to perform their inimitable comedy in support of a charity show.

Themed “Laugh Your Way to CityU”, the show was organised by a group of students from the Associate of Arts in Communication and Public Relations programme of the Community College, using it as a final-year project to run a public relations campaign for a real organisation.

For many in the audience this was their first opportunity to see American-style stand-up comedy – and judging by the spontaneous laughter, it was a huge success! The net profit of the show is being donated to the Hong Kong Association for Cleft Lip and Palate.
