Around 250 players and supporters attended the “Comvita City RFC Tertiary Rugby Tournament” on 13 April. The event is an annual intercollegiate competition organised by the City Rugby Football Club, which was formed in 2000 by a group of rugby enthusiasts from CityU. Around 10 Alumni Ambassadors including Mr Him Yu, Mr Reeve Lin, Mr Rod Lai, Mr Bart Cheng and Ms Agnes Yu, helped arrange sponsorship and onsite services like refereeing at the Shek Kip Mei Sport Ground venue. Their voluntary support not only raised awareness of the sport but also showcased their caring spirit. Ms Eleanor Lee of the Alumni Relations Office helped present prize to the women’s winning team.
