Convocation Vice-Chairman Mr Clovis Lau and Standing Committee member Mr Cedric Cheng warmly hailed recipients of the Andrew Fan Student Award Scheme at its 5th Anniversary reception.
The gathering, held on campus on 30 May, was organised by the University’s Development Office in recognition of the generous donation of alumnus Mr Andrew Fan for setting up a number of different scholarship awards since the academic year of 2007/2008.
In addition to his capacity as Convocation Standing Committee member, Cedric joined this celebratory occasion also in his dual role as one of the former recipients of the Scheme’s Top Outstanding CityU Student Leader Awards in 2008/2009. Cedric was delighted to have the opportunity to chat with former fellows as well as this year’s student awardees.
