To mark the 5^th anniversary of the “Project for Learning Excellence” (Project X), the Department of Applied Social Studies held an “X-Gala” for participants at CityU’s Wei Hing Theatre on 20 May 2013. The occasion was an opportunity for student leaders and alumni mentors to share their campus experiences and whole person development through “Project X” learning activities that included Programme-based Training Camps, Learning Communities, and Community Awareness Projects. Around 20 Alumni Ambassadors attended this event. Graduates Mr James Wong Ting-pong and Ms Kelly Chan Wai-lam shared their rewarding experiences and what they had learnt from the project.
