CityU Eminence Society had the privilege to have fellow alumnus the Hon Rimsky Yuen SC JP, Secretary for Justice of the HKSAR Government, speak at its luncheon at the Grand Hyatt Hotel on 12 July 2013. The event attracted some 50 participants including members of the Eminence Society, business leaders and professionals.
Mr Yuen delivered an insightful speech on the current legal system and policies, the future development of Hong Kong along with his objective to enhance Hong Kong’s status as a regional centre for legal services and dispute resolution. Mr Yuen graduated from the LLM Chinese and Comparative Law programme, and served on the First Executive Committee of the Eminence Society.
The luncheon strengthened the bond among members and provided them with a platform to network with other attendees. They treasured the opportunity to meet Mr Yuen and look forward to the next luncheon with another celebrity guest.
