The Alumni Relations Office (ARO) strives to enrich alumni’s learning experience by co-organising continuing education programmes with the School of Continuing and Professional Education (SCOPE). The kick-off seminar on 24 September 2013 featured Executive Councillor Bernard Chan(陳智思議員)speaking on the theme “政治與經濟的可持續發展” (Political and Economic Sustainable Development), with SCOPE’s Academic Coordinator Dr James Sung(宋立功博士)as facilitator. Over 200 CityU and SCOPE alumni attended the event, which covered Hong Kong’s current political and economic situation, prospects in the political and business environment, and sustainable development opportunities.

To address alumni’s need for lifelong learning, more events with top-notch celebrities sharing their insights will be organised in the near future. Please check out the continuing education opportunities provided by CityU at the one-stop online platform
Alumni Learning@CityU.

The Hon. Bernard Chan shares his view on sustainable development.
